Saad comes back to Al Riyadi, ex Centauros

Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut (WLBL) has added 32-year-old Mexican ex-international guard Carmen Saad (165cm-1991) to their roster. This marks her return to Beirut, as she has previously played here. Saad played for Centauros in the Mexican Chihuahua Vive league last season. In her recent 5 games in the Women Basketball League Americas, she averaged 5.8 points per game, 4.6 rpg, 5.4 apg, and 2.2 spg. She has also played for another Mexican team, Libertadoras, in the LNBPF league in Mexico.
She was also a member of the Mexican international program for several years. She played for the Mexican Senior National Team in 2017 and had previously played for the University National Team in 2015.
Five years ago, Saad represented Mexico at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia. Her team made it to the semifinals, and her statistics for the event were as follows: 5 games played, averaging 2.0 points per game, 1.6 rpg, and 1.2 spg.
She has previously played professionally in Hungary for ZTE Noi Kosarlabda Klub and in Slovenia for Domzale. In 2023, her team reached the Women Basketball League Americas Semifinals.
