Al-Hashd inks Ali Haidar

Al-Hashd Social Sports Club (Superleague) agreed terms with 30-year old Lebanese international power forward Ali Haidar (203-109kg-90, college: Michigan Tech). He played recently with Al Manama in the Bahraini Cup Competition
Haidar also played at the Arab Club Championships Finalist two years ago.
He is quite experienced player. Haidar's career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in six different countries. Haidar tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Canada (Saskatchewan), Jordan (Al Wihdat), Qatar (Al Gharafa), Slovenia (Sencur Gorenjska gradbena druzba Kranj), Lebanon (Al Riyadi, Beirut Club and Champville) and Libya (Al Nasr). Haidar won Jordanian League championship title and made it to the cup final.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Player of the Year and Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Domestic Player of the Year in 2019.
Haidar attended Michigan Technological University until 2013 and it is his eighth season as a professional player.
