Al Wihdat Amman (Premier League) landed 29-year old Lebanese international power forward Ali Haidar (203-109kg-90, college: Michigan Tech). He already started the season at Al Nasr in Libyan D1 league.
Among other achievements Haidar won Lebanese League championship title in 2014, 2016 and 2017. He received also All-GLIAC Player of the Year award back in 2012 and 2013 at his college time.
Haidar played at the Arab Club Championships Finalist last year.
He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Haidar has played previously professionally in Canada (Saskatchewan Rattlers), Slovenia (Sencur Gorenjska gradbena druzba Kranj) and Lebanon (Al Riyadi and Beirut Club).
He attended Michigan Technological University until 2013 and it is his seventh season in pro basketball.
