Homentmen welcomes back Jackson

DEWAYNE JACKSON

Homentmen Beirut (LBL) landed 28-year old American forward Dewayne Jackson (203-95kg-90, college: Morgan State, agency: Higher Vision Sports). It is actually his comeback to Beirut as he has played here before. Jackson played most recently at Champville (LBL). In 22 games he averaged impressive 20.5ppg, 7.3rpg, 2.6apg and 2.1spg (in top 3) last season. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Honorable Mention.
The previous (2018) summer Jackson played at HBC Sicklerville in U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
Among other achievements his college team won MEAC Tournament in 2010. Jackson received also Eurobasket.com All-Bulgarian League Defensive Player of the Year award back in 2015.
He has played previously professionally in Bulgaria (Beroe).
Jackson attended Morgan State until 2013 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
