MSP Rheinstars Bergische Loewen (Bundesliga) re-signed 26-year old American ex-international guard Kristina King (180-92, college: Richmond). She was a team leader there last season. In 14 2.Bundesliga games she recorded very impressive stats: Score-1 (26.4ppg), 6.9rpg, 4.2apg and 1.6spg. King helped them to make it to the group final after they ended regular season as second best team. A very good season in her career as she was awarded Eurobasket.com All-German 2.Bundesliga Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Guard of the Year.

Just last week King led the Loewen to the Liga Mediterranean Cup Championship in Toulouse, France. She was awarded EuroBasket 1st Team along with Ronald McDonald Player of the Year.

Among other achievements King was named WLBL Player of the Year in Lebanon for Chabibeh Sporting Club. She was the leagues top scorer with a 27.0 point per game average.

She was a member of USA Senior National Team between 2015 and 2016. King led the American club to a Bronze Medal while being named AsiaBasket.com All-FIBA Jones Cup Top Player.

King is a very experienced player. She has quite traveled the world as her pro career brought her to seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). King has played previously professionally in France (Reze), Iceland (Grindavik), Lebanon (Chabibeh), Romania (Cluj Napoca), Spain (Mataro), Switzerland (Pully) and WUBA (GIE Matrix).

Worth to mention she played also at Eurobasket Summer League, King was named MVP in 2016.

She attended University of Richmond until 2014 and it will be her sixth season in pro basketball.
King's game is described as: Kristina King is a great scorer, that can run the court with the ball very easily and can penetrate. She is a good short and long distance shooter. She is coming from a very big program the University of Richmond, where she was a leader for her school. She can play equally the position of Shooting Guard and Small Forward.
