ATER MAJOK

Experienced Naturalized South Sudanese Center Ater Majok (208-C-87) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's second-best Champville and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 31-year old center had a double-double of 16 points and thirteen rebounds, while his team crushed Moutahed (#7, 3-6) with 17-point margin 93-76. Champville is placed at 2nd position in Lebanese LBL. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Champville will need more victories to improve their 7-2 record. Majok turned to be Champville's top player in his first season with the team. University of Connecticut graduate has very impressive stats this year. Majok is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 9.0rpg) and averages solid 4.1bpg and 66.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 34-year old American power forward Darian Townes (208-F/C-84) of Atlas F.. Townes impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 19 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Atlas F. lost that game 72-97 to the higher-ranked Beirut Club (#4, 5-4). Atlas F. managed to keep the same 8th spot in the standings. 7 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Atlas F. managed to get this year. Townes is a newcomer at Atlas F. and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.7ppg (#8). He also registered 12.6 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Nigerian Christopher Obekpa (208-F/C-93) of top-ranked Al Riyadi. Obekpa scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He was a key player of Al Riyadi, leading his team to a 93-64 easy win against the lower-ranked Byblos (#5, 4-5). Al Riyadi confirms their top position in the standings. Obekpa has a very solid season. In 2 games in Lebanon he scored 13.5ppg.

4. Marvelle Harris (196-PG-93) of Moutahed - 34 points and 4 rebounds
