There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in LBL. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most interesting game of round 2 was a home defeat of Sagesse (1-2) by Beirut Club (2-1) who outscored them by 23 points 90-67. Beirut Club outrebounded Sagesse 43-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-89, college: Oklahoma S&A, agency: Octagon Europe) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Ali Haidar (201-90, college: Michigan Tech) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Canadian power forward Keanau Post (211-92, college: Missouri) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
Important game to mention about took place in Beirut. Al Riyadi (2-0) saved a 3-point derby victory on the road edging Hoops Club (0-2) 81-78 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Even a double-double of 19 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks by Senegalese forward Ibrahima Thomas (213-87, college: Cincinnati) did not help to save the game for Hoops Club. Al Riyadi will play against Champville in Dik El Mehdi in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hoops Club's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Beirut to the arena Homentmen.
