Kevin Brown
We had a chance to chat with Kevin Brown (190-G-92, college: New Orleans) after his debut game for CS Antonins.

Kevin, how was your first game? Your team lost to higher ranked Moutahed 77-103, but you played well. 21 points and red hot from 3pt line.

It was a tough game. Moutahed had some really good players. We came up short but it was good to be out there competing at a high level. We had some key players out due to injuries so once everyone is back and we get some practice together, I think we can make a good playoff push.

You played most recently at Ylli in Kosovan Superliga. In 13 games he was second best scorer with impressive 21.3ppg. You also played for Siroki Primorka in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division earlier that season. How come you waited that long for the next contract? Didn't you have any offers?

Yes I had offers but I was looking for the best opportunity to take the next step in my career. My goal was to play in very competitive league. Being patient paid off well because now I'm playing in one of the top leagues in Asia.

Why Lebanon? What made you sign contract in CS Antonins?

I chose Lebanon because it's a great league with great players. I fit well with Antonins because I can score the ball at high volume while also guarding the other teams best guard most nights. I take pride in being a 2 way player. Coach Sarin thought I would be a good fit with the team and he is another reason I chose to come here. I'm excited to have the opportunity to play for him. His basketball IQ is very high. I'm young so I think he can help me take my game to the next level.

How do you find living in Lebanon. What about culture differences between Lebanon, Europe and USA. Is it hard to adjust to new places?

I haven't been here long so I hope to learn the new culture. Lebanon seems to be very Americanized so it's been easy to adjust. Almost everyone speaks English.!The people here are nice and treat you good. I'm happy to have the opportunity to experience the culture.

Where would you like to continue your career?

I'm open to playing anywhere in the world as long as it's at a high level. The goal is to play at the highest levels and against the best players.

How would you describe your game for these who don't know you yet.

I'm a 2 way scoring point guard. I can run the offense, use pick and roll and knock down shots. I think my athleticism and shooting ability allows me to play on the wing also. I can guard positions 1-3 on defense so that also adds to my game.

Thanks and good luck in the reminder of the season.
