After 5 rounds and with the end of the Allier, we are confident to say that the women's Lebanese basketball league is stronger than ever. Hoops team with the leadership of President Jassem Kanso who invested not only in high caliber players in which they added experience and expertise to the team (Loubna Abdulah, Magalee Gmayel, and Narine Gyochyan) but also invested in his academy's talent raising his philosophy message to the world ' the talent development from within'. Today Hoops proudly can state that they graduated future basketball women talent in Dima Chahine, Aya Sabra, Jinane Hajj Chehade and Karine Naji.

Furthermore, when looking at the technical side of this team we can say that the coaching staff led by Jad El-Hajj who's is doing an outstanding job and his assistants Ziad Natour and Omar Chamitily took a risk as they are the only team playing with two American guards who are both contenders for league MVP; Talented scorer Tabatha Richardson-Smith, and smart point guard Michaela Houser) alongside local big's.

Looking at the result of hoops team they are confidently holding one of the best offensive and defensive records in the league thus far. Hoops preseason was outstanding! They went on a 5-0 record, 2 of these games were against a very solid Homentmen team and the Algerian champions whom participated in the pan arab cup. Then continued to show their high level performance against west Asian champions riyadi Beirut whom they were close to snatch the win in Micheal Murr on the opening game of the season. Hoops then fell to Antranik and Homentmen but balanced back to win two crucial wins and secure the 4th place which is this year's target quoting the person who is looking over this team and building it alongside Jassem and the coaching staff ; Consultant Faissal Kalaawi.

The regular season is far from over, and the final 4 is yet to be determined; Hoops are the black horse of this league without any doubt. The underdogs can win any game on any given night; moreover they are yet to show the world their full potential and definitely they are on the right track. GOOD LUCK HOOPS
