America point guard Kristina King (180-PG-92, college: Richmond) had a record breaking game in the last round for Sporting Club Chabibeh and that's her to receive a Asiabasket.com Player of the Week award for round 2.

The 24-year old playmaker had the WLBL-high 44 points adding 13 rebounds and seven assists for Sporting Club Chabibeh in her team's victory, helping them to beat Energy Club 83-54. Sporting Club Chabibeh are currently ranked #4 in the WLBL. King is an very impressive player with over 4 year of professional experience. Last summer she was named Eurbasket Summer league MVP; she would later join the Atlanta Dream (WNBA) for mini camp. .

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 35-year old American guard Roneeka Hodges (180-G-82, college: Florida St.) of Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut. Hodges impressed basketball fans with 29 points and 9 rebounds. She powered Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut 78-51 over Antranik. She was apart of the Arab Championship where she was named to the All-Tournament Team with an average of 18.7ppg and 11.2 rebounds.

The third best performed player last round was Homentmen Beirut Antelias star forward April Sykes (182-G/F-90, college: Rutgers). Sykes scored a game high 32 points and grabbed nine rebounds (!!!). She was the key player for Homentmen Beirut Club as they out class Hoops Club 82-56. Sykes spend three seasons in the WNBA for the Los Angeles Sparks.

4. Rebecca Akl (169-PG-92) of Homentmen Beirut Antelias - 12 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists
5. Shareta Brown (185-C-93, college: Wayne St., MI) of Sporting Club Chabibeh - 21 points, 21 rebounds and 2 blocks
6. Latoya Williams (192-C-87, college: Chipola JC) of Hometmen - 15 points, 15 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Lama Moukaddem (174-G/F-90) of Sporting Al Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut - 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Homenetmen Antelias - Riyadi 67-52 Homenetmen Antelias have won the Super Cup in Lebanon. The team defeated their opponents Riyadi 67-52. Homenetmen Antelias dominated the majority of the game and rightfully clinched the trophy. In the past Homentmen were crowned Lebanese 2017/18 Champions as they swept the Final series against Al Riyadi Club. In the third game Homentmen erupted with an 83-46 win for a 3-0 win in the series. Yaktavia Hickson agreed terms with Chabibeh - 10 days ago
Sporting Club Chabibeh (WLBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 23-year old American guard Yaktavia Hickson (180-95, college: Tenn Tech). She played in the summer at Atlanta Monarchs (WBCBL) in the U.S. The last season she played at Tennessee Tech University in the NCAA where in 29 games she recorded 17.7ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.3apg and 1.2spg. Chabibeh keeps Beddawi for another season - 10 days ago
Sporting Club Chabibeh (WLBL) re-signed 26-year old point guard Sandra Beddawi (168-92). She played there last season. Beddawi's team won Liga Catalonia Cup in Spain in 2018. This summer Beddawi helped the Chabibeh Sporting Club win the 2019 Liga Mediterranean Cup in Toulouse, France. In was the first FIBA Championship won by a Lebanese Club on the womens side.
