Demarius
Bolds
Al Moutahed Tripoli (Pepsi LBL) landed 33-year old American guard Demarius Bolds (193-88kg-84, college: Missouri Western). He was about to sign at Targu Mures in Romanian Liga Nationala. The last season Bolds played at GS Lavrio in Greek A1 where in 26 games he averaged 11.0ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.9apg and 1.0spg. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 League Honorable Mention.
Bolds is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in eight different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. Bolds has played previously professionally in Iraq (Nift Al-Janoub), Lithuania (Lietkabelis), Qatar (Al Rayyan), Turkey (Final Genclik), United Kingdom (London Lions), Greece (Apollon Patras), Czech Republic (BK Kolin) and Kosovo (Bashkimi).
He attended previously one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on he way to pro basketball.
Bolds attended Missouri Western State College until 2006 and it is his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into His outlook: A very athletic combo guard who does everything.
He is a great slasher to the basket and finishes above the rim with either hand.
Defensively he is a star who plays with a lot of intensity.
He is a big time talent and a great all around player who can do it all
.
