Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut (Division A) added to their roster 27-year old Lebanese ex-international power forward Jarrid Famous (209-109kg-88, college: S.Florida, agency: Hazan Sports). He already started the season at Yulon Luxgen in Taiwanese SBL league. Famous also played at Fujian (CBA) in Chinese league earlier that season. In 7 SBL games he had 11.6ppg and 8.6rpg this season. He also spent pre-season at the Mavericks in NBA earlier that year. The last summer Famous played at Globalport (PBA) in Filipino league. In 9 games he recorded very impressive stats: 30.2ppg, 23.0rpg, 1.4apg and 2.0bpg. The most of last (14-15) season he spent at Texas Legends in D-League. In 17 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 18.1ppg, 14.4rpg and 1.3bpg. The other team Famous played that season for was Iowa Energy in D-League. In 10 games he recorded 12.4ppg, 15.9rpg and 1.0bpg.
In 2011 he was drafted by Iowa Energy (D-League) as #3 pick overall.
Famous attended University of South Florida and it is his fifth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of Dominican Rep. District National League in 2013. Famous was also voted Asia-Basket.com Lebanese League All-Domestic Players Team in 2014. He was a member of Lebanese Senior National Team in 2012.
Famous is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in NBA (Memphis Grizzlies), China (Jiangsu Dragons), Philippines (San Miguel Beermen), Dominican Republic (Metros de Santiago), D-League (Los Angeles D-Fenders) and Japan (Akita Happinets).

Al Riyadi - Homentmen 87-72 Al Riyadi are Lebanese SuperCup Champions 2018/2019 beating Homentmen 87-72. The latter looked better in the start of the game and posted two wins in the first half.
