Alga-KTU snatched a narrow win over Dinamo to force the decider in the championship series. Alga-KTU forced 20 Dinamo turnovers. Guard Nurtay Subanbekov (185-1992) scored 25 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Alexey Batskikh chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Alga-KTU's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Bahgidas Bibolou responded with 24 points and 9 rebounds and Ruslan Khalikov produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Four Dinamo players scored in double figures.

Politekhnik - Legion 75-70

Politekhnik held off Legion to even the series at 1-1. Politekhnik had a 26-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. Adylbek Naimanbaev (-2001) notched 23 points, 5 assists and 5 steals to lead the effort and center Nikolay Bobrov (190-2000) supported him with 12 points and 16 rebounds. Four Politekhnik players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 19 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists by guard Baish Adiev (192-1990) did not help to save the game for Legion. Naturalized Russian guard Emil Kasymaliev (190-1989) added 9 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists for the guests.
