Guard Baish Adiev (192-G-90) put on an amazing game in the last round for Legion, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 40 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat SHUM (#6, 0-5), the league's bottom-ranked team 72-67. Legion maintains the 3rd position in Kyrgyzstani Higher League. Legion is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-3 record. In the team's last game Adiev had a remarkable 77.3% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Legion and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Baish Adiev has solid league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.2ppg. Adiev is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 8.3rpg), assists (3rd best: 3.0apg) and averages impressive 51.8% FGP.
The second best player in last round's games was Danil Dubchenko of SHUM. Dubchenko had a very good evening with a double-double of 18 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as SHUM lost that game 67-72 to the higher-ranked Legion (#3, 3-3). SHUM are still at the very bottom. 5 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Dubchenko is a newcomer at SHUM, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 12.8ppg (#7). He also registered 10.4 boards per game.
Third on the list of top players last round was another SHUM's star - forward Belek Bektenov (F-95). Bektenov showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, fourteen rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. Despite Bektenov's great performance SHUM lost 67-72 to the higher-ranked Legion (#3, 3-3). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. SHUM can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 5 games. Bektenov has individually a great season in Kyrgyzstan. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.4ppg (2nd best), rebounds with 10.2rpg (5th best) and assists with 5.0apg (best passer).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
