Adiev's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

Zhanysh Adiev

31-year old guard Zhanysh Adiev (190-G-90) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team Alga-KTU and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had a double-double of 34 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team SHUM (#6, 0-2) with 60-point margin 101-41. It allowed Alga-KTU to consolidate first place in the Kyrgyzstani league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Alga-KTU already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Adiev had a remarkable ten three-pointers out of 17 attempts. It's his second year at Alga-KTU and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Adiev has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.5ppg. Adiev is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 10.0rpg), assists (3rd best: 4.5apg) and averages solid 4.5spg,87.5% FGP and 48.3% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Nikolay Bobrov (190-C) of Politekhnik. He is a center in his 3rd season at Politekhnik. In the last game Bobrov recorded impressive double-double of 12 points and 22 rebounds. Bad luck as Politekhnik lost that game 53-67 to Dinamo (2-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Bobrov is one of the most experienced players at Politekhnik and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Evgeny Pekhov of league's second-best Dinamo. Pekhov showcased his all-around game by recording 8 points, ten rebounds and six assists in the last round. He was a key player of Dinamo, leading his team to a 67-53 easy win against Politekhnik (#5, 0-2). Pekhov has a great season in Kyrgyzstan. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.7rpg (2nd best) and assists with 4.3apg (7th best).
