Higher League Round 2: SHUM lose to Legion

There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in Higher League. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

SHUM recorded a loss in Bishkek on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Legion 90-86. Legion forced 19 SHUM turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Baish Adiev (192-90) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized Russian guard Emil Kasymaliev (190-89) chipped in 12 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Forward Belek Bektenov (-95) produced 34 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Legion's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Bishkek to the arena Gines-29.

Guard Zhanysh Adiev (190-90) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Roman Gostishev contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Bahgidas Bibolou replied with 24 points for Dinamo. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Alga-KTU will play against SHUM in Bishkek in the next round where they are favorite. Dinamo's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Bishkek Politekhnik.

An exciting game was played in Manas. Alga-KTU faced Dinamo. Host Alga-KTU defeated guests from Bishkek 79-67. Alga-KTU outrebounded Dinamo 49-35 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Zhanysh Adiev (190-90) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Power forward Roman Gostishev (197-97) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Bahgidas Bibolou replied with 24 points and the former international Evgeny Pekhov added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Dinamo. Five Alga-KTU and four Dinamo players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Alga-KTU will play against SHUM in Bishkek in the next round where they are favorite.
