Adiev's 39-point game gives him Player of the Week award

30-year old guard Baish Adiev (192-G-90) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Legion and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had the game-high 39 points adding six rebounds and four assists for Legion in his team's victory, helping them to beat Grizzly (#7, 1-6) 91-78. Legion maintains the 3rd position in Kyrgyzstani league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Legion will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. In the team's last game Adiev had a remarkable 61.1% from 2-point range. He turned to be Legion's top player in his first season with the team. Adiev has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 23.9ppg. Adiev is in league's top in assists (6th best: 3.6apg) and averages solid 2.9spg.

Second best performed player last round was Stas Lukonin (206-C-88). He is a center in his second season at Legion. In the last game Lukonin recorded impressive double-double of 22 points and 17 rebounds. Of course together with Adiev he helped Legion with another comfortable win 91-78 over the lower-ranked Grizzly (#7, 1-6) being unquestionably team leader. Legion's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team's 4-3 record is not bad at all. Lukonin is well-known at Legion and together with Baish Adiev he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to Omurbek Atabekov (194-SF-98) of Politekhnik (#6). Atabekov got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for ten rebounds . Despite Atabekov's great performance Politekhnik lost 80-85 to slightly higher-ranked Gines-29 Jr. (#4, 4-3). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Politekhnik can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-6 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Atabekov has individually a great season in Kyrgyzstan. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.0ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 11.6rpg (4th best).
