Best players of Kyrgyzstani Liga Forward round 15 (by Interperformances)

Shakirzhan Kuranbaev

Experienced Former international Guard Shakirzhan Kuranbaev (170-G-84) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Guiness-29 and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 35-year old guard got a double-double of 40 points and eleven assists, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Grizzly (#8, 0-11) with 31-point margin 117-86. It allowed Guiness-29 to consolidate first place in the Kyrgyzstani Liga Forward. Guiness-29 has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 11-1. In the team's last game Kuranbaev had a remarkable 63.2% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He has many years of experience at Guiness-29, through which he has constantly improved. Kuranbaev has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 30.6ppg) and averages solid 56.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 46-year old power forward Aleksei Batskih (205-PF-73) of Legion. Batskih impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 19 rebounds. It was enough for Legion to edge slightly higher-ranked Moy Telefon (#2, 9-2) by 6 points 85-79. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Legion consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. His team's 9-3 record is not bad at all. Batskih is a newcomer at Legion and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Askat Bayanov (SF-87) of Grizzly (#8). Bayanov got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds and seven assists. Despite Bayanov's great performance Grizzly lost 86-117 to the higher-ranked Guiness-29 (#1, 11-1). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Grizzly can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 11 games. Bayanov has a very solid season. In 8 games in Kyrgyzstan he scored 15.4ppg. He also has 7.3rpg, 2.1spg and FGP: 51.1%.
