Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Second defeat of league's leader Legion (5-2) against fifth ranked Politekhnik (4-2) 79-72 was the most important game of the last round. Strangely Legion outrebounded Politekhnik 52-31 including a 22-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Syimyk Esenaliev (181-0) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 4 steals. Sherzat Kenenov (174-98) contributed with 8 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Center Stas Lukonin (206-88) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 18 rebounds for Legion. Politekhnik have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Guiness-29 Jr. Newly promoted Legion dropped to the second position with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Guiness-29.

Moy Telefon's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Guiness-29 have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Defending champion Moy Telefon dropped to the third place with one game lost.
Bottom-ranked Nomad is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to fifth ranked Guiness-29 Jr. (4-2) 88-80 on Thursday evening. It was an exceptional evening for Azim Cholonbaev who led the winners and scored 32 points and 8 assists. Konstantin Usenko came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for Nomad in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Guiness-29 Jr.. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Politekhnik. Nomad lost their fourth game in a row. Nomad at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with four games lost.

Nazim Oruchkulov fired a double-double by scoring 25 points, 18 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. The victory was the third consecutive win for Guiness-29 Jr.. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Politekhnik. Grizzly lost their fifth game in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost.



Moy Telefon - Guiness-29 64-81

Bottom-ranked Grizzly is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to fifth ranked Guiness-29 Jr. (4-2) 90-69. Grizzly was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 50-28 second half run of Guiness-29 Jr.. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Grizzly's 28.
