Guiness-29 narrowly defeated Tulpar-SKIF in the Finals opener. They grabbed a valuable 64-63 win against the opponent. Tulpar-SKIF fully dominated the first half and enjoyed a 37-23 halftime advantage. Guiness-29 however replied with a 25-12 surge in the third period and then added a 16-14 run in the last stanza. Shakirzhan Kuranbaev (170-G-84) top-scored for the winners with 31 points and Aleksandr Kazantsev (192-SF-96) collected 14 points and 12 boards. Kislicin and Nurtay Subanbekov replied with 19 points each in the losing effort.
