Alga-KTU - Dinamo 104-71

Alga-KTU conquered Higher League title as they cruised past Dinamo in the third game of the championship series. Alga-KTU players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was an exceptional evening for guard Nurtay Subanbekov (185-1992) who led the winners and scored 36 points (!!!). Guard Zhanysh Adiev (190-1990) accounted for 11 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists for the winning side. Four Alga-KTU players scored in double figures. Alga-KTU's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Nursultan Adylbek (175-1993) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and Ruslan Khalikov added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Dinamo in the defeat.

Legion - Politekhnik 67-60

Legion clinched the third position as they beat Politekhnik in the decider. Strangely Politekhnik outrebounded Legion 55-35 including a 26-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for guard Baish Adiev (192-1990) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international center Nikita Boyko (-1995) helped adding 8 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was center Nikolay Bobrov (190-2000) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 17 rebounds and Adilet Keneshbekov scored 16 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
