Qadsia adds Jones to their roster, ex Al Sharjah

Al Qadsia (D1) added to their roster experienced 35-year old American forward DeQuan Jones (203cm-100kg-1990, college: Miami, FL) for season 2025-26. Jones played last season at Al Sharjah in UAE ULB league.
He was also voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D2 Honorable Mention in 2022 and 2023.
The previous (2024) summer he was tested by Warriors (PBA) in Filipino league.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Jones' pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in seven different countries. Jones has played previously professionally in China (Anhui Wenyi), France (Lille), Israel (Hapoel Holon), Italy (Trieste), Japan (Jets, Lakestars and Storks), NBA (Atlanta Hawks and Indiana Pacers) and NBA G League (Noblesville Boom and Stockton Kings).
His team won Japanese B League D2 West Division Regular Season in 2021.
He graduated from University of Miami in 2012 and it will be his 14th (!!!) season as a professional player. Jones was also selected to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D2 Honorable Mention in 2022 and 2023.
