Kuwait Club draws first blood in best-of-five final against Kazma

Kuwait Club’s first basketball team seized control of the 2024–2025 league final by defeating Kazma 80–61 in Game 1 of the best-of-five series at the Basketball Association Hall in the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex. With three wins needed to secure the championship, the “Whites” now hold a crucial 1–0 advantage.
After a tightly contested first half, Kuwait Club pulled away in the fourth quarter, outscoring Kazma by double digits to claim a comfortable victory. Meanwhile, the bronze-medal series tips off today at 5:00 pm in Al-Ittihad Hall, pitting Al-Qurain against Al-Qadsiya. This best-of-three playoff gives the winner of the first match a 2-0 edge in the race for third place; Al-Qadsiya claimed that opening game last Tuesday with a 90–76 victory over Al-Qurain.
