Al Qadsia (D1) tabbed experienced 37-year old American (has also Jamaican passport) 193cm guard Sek Henry (college: Nebraska). He played most recently at Halc.Xalapa in Mexican LNBP. In 41 games he averaged 11.1ppg, 2.0rpg and 2.1apg last season. He helped them to make it to the Mexican LNBP final. The last season he played at Givova Scafati Basket (Serie A) in Italian league. Henry also played for Samsunspor Kulubu (U19 League) in Turkish league.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in fourteen different countries playing on five different continents. Henry is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, Australian and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Australia (Breakers), China (Changsha), France (Pau Lacq Orthez, JDA Dijon and Gravelines Dunkerque), Israel (Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Ashdod/Be'er Tuvia), Italy (Brindisi and Orlandina), Japan (Happinets), Poland (AZS), Puerto Rico (Piratas), Spain (Zaragoza), Turkey (Pinar Karsiyaka), Venezuela (Bucaneros), Big3 (Enemies) and The Basketball Tournament (In the Lab).
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com FIBA Europe Cup All-Imports Team back in 2019.
It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Qadsia.
Henry graduated from University of Nebraska in 2010 and it will be his 15th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
