Robert Lowery (ex Qadsia) is a newcomer at Al-Najma

Robert Lowery

Al-Najma Manama (Premier League) added to their roster experienced 37-year old American point guard Robert Lowery (188cm-78kg-1987, college: Dayton). He joins another USA player Ashford Golden who is already in the roster.
He has played for the last two seasons at Qadsia in Kuwaiti D1 league.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Lowery's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in eleven different countries. He has played previously professionally in Belarus (BC Minsk), Germany (ALBA Berlin, MLP Academics Loweryidelberg, s Oliver Baskets and Saar Pfalz Braves), Greece (Koroivos, Promitheas and Nea Kifissia), Italy (Trapani), Kazakhstan (Astana), Latvia (VEF Riga), Poland (Twarde Pierniki), Turkey (Ayos and Best Balikesir), Czech Republic (Chomutov) and The Basketball Tournament (Red Scare).
Among many awards his team won Belarusian Cup in 2021. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-German Bundesliga Honorable Mention back in 2022.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Al-Najma.
Lowery graduated from University of Dayton in 2010 and it will be his 15th (!!!) season as a professional player. He played also for Cecil College for one year.
