Champville lands Travis Leslie, ex Astros

Travis Leslie

Champville (LBL) tabbed experienced 34-year old American 193cm swingman Travis Leslie (college: Georgia). He played this summer at Astros in Mexican LNBP. In 5 games he just recently played he averaged 9.0ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.2apg and 1.0spg. The last season he played at Kazma (D1) in Kuwaiti league.
In 2011 he was drafted by Los Angeles Clippers (NBA) in second round (47th overall). The former University of Georgia star is in his 15th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in twelve different countries playing on five different continents. Leslie is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, Australian and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Australia (Kings), France (Pau Lacq Orthez, Metropolitans, ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket, Chalons Reims and Boulazac Basket), Germany (Bayreuth), Kuwait, Lithuania (Rytas and Siauliai), Poland (Legia), Puerto Rico (Leones), Spain (Real Betis), NBA (Utah Jazz and Indiana Pacers), NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors and Indiana Mad Ants) and The Basketball Tournament (Fort Wayne Champs).
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com Polish League All-Imports Team in 2023.
