Defending champion Al Kuwait SC (D1) re-hired experienced 62-year-old German coach Peter Schomers for the upcoming season.

He has coached there for the last six years.
He has coached in Austria, Germany (Tigers), Lebanon, Romania, UAE, and United Arab Emirates (Shabab Al Ahli). His team made it to the West Asia Super League Final 8 Semifinals in 2024.
