Sulaibikhat signs Alex Holcombe, ex SW Slammers

Alex Holcombe

Al Sulaibikhat (D1) signed 26-year old American power forward Alex Holcombe (206cm-113kg-1998, college: DBU) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. He played last season with SW Slammers in the Australian NBL One. In 22 games, he averaged 12.8ppg, 9.1rpg, and 2.5bpg. The previous season, he played with MBK Tobol Kostanay in the National League in the Kazakhstan league.
He has played on three different continents, including Europe, Asia, and North America. Holcombe has played professionally in Kazakhstan and Montenegro (Pljevlja) before.
He played in the final of CIT Tournament in 2017.
Holcombe graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2022 and it'll be his third season as a pro player. He played for other colleges such as Youngstown State University, Panola College, and Texas A&M University Corpus Christi.
