Al Qadsia (D1) added to their roster 30-year old American swingman Ronald March (196cm-79kg-1993, college: Philander Smith) for season 2023-24. March also played 32 games in Lat-Est BL where he averaged 13.1ppg, 4.2rpg, 2.3apg and 1.4spg.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in seven different countries. March is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
He graduated from Philander Smith College in 2016 and it is his eighth season as a professional player. March played for other colleges like: Glendale Community College Maricopa, Houston Christian University.
The scouts decsribe him following way: Extremely athletic and versatile guard/forward who is able to play three positions- SG, SF and even some minutes as a PG. Offensively handles and shoots the ball well, can penetrate with power and finish with lay-up or monster dunk. An exceptional offensive rebounder for his size.
