Al Fatat adds Coker to their roster, ex Bashkimi

Al Fatat (D1) has added experienced 41-year-old American forward Monique Coker (188cm-1982, college: ODU) to their roster. Coker was the best rebounder at Bashkimi in the Kosovan Superliga last season, averaging 13.9ppg, 10.0rpg (#4 in the league), 1.6apg, 2.4spg (in the top 5), and 1.3bpg in 8 games.

She helped Bashkimi win the cup and reach the league semifinals, earning a spot on the Eurobasket.com All-Kosovo League Second Team. In the 2021-22 season, Coker also played 7 games in Liga Unike, where she averaged an impressive 15.9ppg, 12.6rpg, 2.9apg, and 2.3spg.

She was selected to the Eurobasket.com All-Liga Unike Honorable Mention and was named League Player of the Week, making it another spectacular season for her.

She is a highly experienced player, having played in nine different countries across three continents throughout her career. She has gained valuable experience as a professional basketball player in Europe, Africa, and North America. Her previous professional stints include playing for Forssan Alku in Finland, Ramat Hasharon in Israel, AMIB Casablanca in Morocco, Polkowice in Poland, Targoviste and Arad in Romania, Extrugasa in Spain, Ceyhan in Turkey, and Inter-Clube in Angola.

She graduated from Old Dominion University in 2004, and this year marks her 20th season as a professional player.
