Coach Dejan Tomic (ex Arabi) signs at Jazeera

Al Jazeera has hired Dejan Tomic, a 65-year-old Serbian coach who previously worked at Arabi in the Kuwaiti league.
He coached Serbia at the Islamic Games in Medina, Saudi Arabia 19 years ago.
He has traveled extensively during his professional career, playing and coaching in ten different countries across Europe, Asia, and Africa. He has coached professionally in Bahrain for Al-Riffa and Al-Ittihad, Cyprus, Morocco, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Serbia for Borac Cacak U19 team, Singapore, Syria for Al Ittihad, and Libya for Al Morog.
In 2020, his team reached the final in Bahrain. He was also voted as the Asia-Basket.com All-Bahrain League Co-Coach of the Year in 2019.
