Coach Michael Matsentides (ex Omonia) agreed terms with Kuwait

Defending champion Al Kuwait SC (D1) agreed terms with the 43-year old Cypriot coach Michael Matsentides (agency: Octagon Europe ) to be the assistant coach of the team for upcoming season. Matsentides was head coach most recently at Omonia in Cypriot league.
He has been assistan coach of Cypriot Senior National Team between 2020 and 2023 and head coach at U16 National Team in 2019.
Matsentides has coached previously also in Lebanon (Al Riyadi and Al Riyadi) and Cyprus (Keravnos and Ydra Asfalistiki ENAD Nicosia). He won Cyprus League championship title in 2017, 2019 and 2022 and the cup in 2012, 2019 and 2022.
