Aleksandra Begenisic

Qurain (D1) inked 33-year old Bosnian 194cm center Aleksandra Begenisic. Begenisic is the second import player in the roster as USA Italee Lucas signed here earlier.

She supposed to play at Penza in Kosovan Superliga. In four games she recorded very impressive stats: 17.5ppg, 10.8rpg, 4.3apg, 1.5spg and 2.3bpg this season. She also spent pre-season at Bashkimi (Superliga) in Kosovo where in three games she averaged 9.3ppg, 8.0rpg, 4.0apg, 1.0spg and 1.0bpg.

She is a very experienced player. Begenisic has played also professionally in Greece (AS Aris Thessalonikis), Iran (Bandar Abbas and Bahman), Romania (Cluj Napoca), Serbia (Sabac), Spain (Ensino and Granada), Sweden (Jarfalla), Syria (Qasioun), Turkey (Balcova) and Bosnia (Zeljeznicar, Leotar and Orlovi). Her team won Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup in 2009 and 2010.

Among many awards she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Bosnia and Herzegovina Center of the Year back in 2020.
