Manny Harris

Defending champion Al Kuwait SC (D1) inked 33-year old American 197cm shooting guard Manny Harris (college: Michigan) for upcoming season. Harris played most recently at Steelers in Taiwanese PLeague+. In four games he averaged impressive 29.3ppg, 9.5rpg, 3.5apg and 3.0spg last season. He also played for Al-Ahli (Premier League) in Bahrain league.
Harris has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
He is a very experienced player. Harris has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to nine different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in China (Harrisroes and Anhui Wenyi), Greece (AEK Athens), Israel (Hapoel Holon), Lithuania (Rytas), Philippines (NLEX Road Warriors), Turkey (Turk Telekom, Eskisehir Basket and Acibadem), Ukraine, NBA (Dallas Mavericks and LA Lakers) and NBA G League (Texas Legends and South Bay Lakers).
Among many awards his team won PBA Governor's Cup Regular Season in 2019. He received Eurobasket.com All-Basketball Champions League Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-Basketball Champions League Import Player of the Year award back in 2018.
Harris graduated from University of Michigan in 2010 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season in pro basketball.
