Kevin Murphy

Kazma (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 32-year old American 197cm guard Kevin Murphy (college: Tenn Tech) for season 2022-23. Murphy played this summer at 3Headed Monsters (Big3) in the U.S.
The most of last season he spent at Ignite in U.S. NBA-G-League where in 21 games he recorded 9.9ppg, 3.1rpg and 2.0apg. He also played for Bahrain Club (Premier League) in Bahrain league. In 21 games he averaged 9.9ppg, 3.1rpg and 2.0apg.
In 2012 he was drafted by ? Utah Jazz (NBA) in second round (47th overall). The former Tennessee Tech University standout is in his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Murphy is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America) in twelve different countries. He has played previously professionally in China (Guangsha Lions, Guangxi and Chongqing), Croatia (Cedevita), France (SIG Strasbourg), Japan (Hitachi SunRockers Tokyo-Shibuya), Philippines (SM Beermen), Qatar (Al Arabi), Turkey (Gaziantep), UAE, NBA G League (Salt Lake City Stars, Stockton Kings and Grand Rapids Gold), Bahrain (Al-Muharraq), United Arab Emirates (Shabab Al Ahli) and Libya (Al Morog).
Among many awards he played in the final of Big3 in 2021. Murphy was voted to Asia-Basket.com Bahrain League All-Imports Team back in 2019.
