Kazma (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old American 203cm forward Cleanthony Early (college: Wichita State) for season 2022-23. Early played this summer at Gladiadores in Venezuelan SPB league. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). Early ended 21-22 season at Tigers in South African league where in only one Basketball Africa League game he had 15 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. But the most of that year he spent at New Taipei CTBC DEA in Taiwanese T1 League. In 12 games he recorded very impressive stats: 27.4ppg, 8.9rpg and 4.8apg. He was also voted League Player of the Week.
In 2014 he was drafted by New York Knicks (NBA) in second round (34th overall). The former Wichita State standout is in his ninth season in pro basketball.
Early is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America) in nine different countries. He has played previously professionally in Dominican Republic (Parque Hostos and Enriquillo), France (Olympique Antibes), Greece (AEK Athens), Hungary (Atomeromu), Japan (Tokyo Hachioji Trains), Saudi Arabia (Al Ahly, Al Nasr and Ohod), NBA (NY Knicks), NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors, Rio Grande Valley Vipers and Westchester Knicks) and The Basketball Tournament (Aftershocks).
