Marcus Georges-Hunt agreed terms with Kuwait

Defending champion Al Kuwait SC (D1) inked 28-year old American (has also U.S. Virgin Islands passport) 196cm forward Marcus Georges-Hunt (college: Georgia Tech), agency: Pensack Sports for upcoming season. Georges-Hunt played this summer at Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Summer League. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In four NBA games just recently he recorded 3.3ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.5spg. Georges-Hunt also played for Mets in Puerto Rican BSN where in four games he averaged impressive 19.3ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.5apg.
He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to three different continents (Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Georges-Hunt has played previously professionally in China (Jiangsu Dragons, Blue Whales and Long Lions), NBA (Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Orlando Magic and Minnesota Timberwolves) and NBA G League (Iowa Wolves, College Park SkyHawks and Maine Celtics).
He was voted to D-League All-Star Game back in 2017.
He graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2016 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
