Fifth-ranked Burgan (3-12) was very close to win a game against third ranked Jahraa (7-7) in Al Jahraa on Sunday. Jahraa managed to secure only three-point victory 108-105. However their fans expected easier game. Jahraa maintains third position with 7-7 record having eight points less than leader Kuwait. Burgan at the other side keeps the fifth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Qurrain.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kuwait City: Kuwait (#1) and Kazma (#2). Kuwait (14-1) smashed visiting Kazma (12-2) by 20 points 99-79. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Kazma. Kuwait have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-1 record. Kazma at the other side keeps the second place with two games lost.
Another interesting game was again a derby between two local teams from Kuwait City: Qurrain (#6) and Qadsia (#4). Qurrain (3-12) won against visiting Qadsia (5-10) 108-100. Qurrain moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Burgan. Loser Qadsia keeps the fourth position with ten games lost.
