Kuwait - Qurrain 108-46 The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kuwait City: Kuwait (#1) and Qurrain (#6). Defending champion maintains first position with 10-1 record, which they share with Kazma. Qurrain lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. Kazma - Burgan 114-70 Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Kuwait City: Kazma (#2) and Burgan (#5). Kazma (10-1) smashed visiting Burgan (2-9) by 44 points 114-70. Kazma keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Kuwait. Burgan at the other side keeps the fifth place with nine games lost. Kazma's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kuwait City Qadsia. Jahraa - Qadsia 81-69 An exciting game was played in Al Jahraa. Third ranked Jahraa faced one of their biggest challengers Qadsia. Host Jahraa (6-5) defeated guests from Kuwait City (4-7) 81-69. Jahraa maintains third position with 6-5 record having four points less than leader Kuwait. Loser Qadsia keeps the fourth place with seven games lost. Jahraa will meet bottom-ranked Qurrain (#6) in the next round.
