Qadsia tabs Anthony Young, ex Libertadores

Al Qadsia (D1) inked 32-year old American 200cm forward Anthony Young (college: KWC). Young played last summer at Libertadores in Mexican LNBP. He managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year (!!!). In 15 LNBP games he averaged impressive 16.8ppg, 4.1rpg, 2.1apg and 1.1spg. Young also played for Hurricanes in Colombian LPB where in 6 games he had very remarkable stats: 22.8ppg, 8.2rpg, 3.7apg, 1.0spg and 2.0bpg.
He is a very experienced player. Young has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to nine different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Penarol, La Union and Obera), Germany (ETB Miners and BSV Wulfen), Panama (Halcones), Paraguay (Olimpia), Puerto Rico (Capitanes), Uruguay (Defensor, Larre Borges Montevideo, Bigua, Urunday and Montevideo BC), Venezuela (Gigantes), Dominican Republic (Huracanes) and Colombia (Bucaros).
Young attended Kentucky Wesleyan College until 2012 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
