Michael Murray

Burgan SC (D1) added to their roster 29-year old American small forward Michael Murray (196cm-95kg-91, college: Coppin State) for new 2021-22 season. Murray played last season at Al Nasr in Saudi Arabian SBL league. In 6 games he recorded very impressive stats: 21.5ppg, 11.5rpg, 4.3apg and 1.3spg. He also played for Al Safa (SBL) where in 16 games he averaged remarkable 22.8ppg, 14.0rpg, 2.6apg and 1.7spg. Murray helped them to win the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. Quite impressive year as he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL Finals MVP and selected to 1st Team and voted to All-Imports Team.
He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in six different countries. Murray tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Echague), Colombia (Warriors), Indonesia (Pelita Jaya), Mexico (Ostioneros de Guaymas), Portugal (Illiabum) and Spain (Algeciras, Quintanar and Azuqueca).
Murray attended Coppin State until 2014 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player.
