Toure Khalid-Murry

Al Qadsia (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old American 196cm point guard Toure Murry, college: Wichita State, agency: Players Group for season 2021-22. Murry played most recently at BC Lulea in Swedish Basketligan. In 30 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.8ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.0apg and 1.4spg last season. A very spectacular year in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Swedish Basketligan Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
The previous (19-20) season he played at Benfica in Portuguese LPB. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 16 Portuguese LPB games he averaged 10.6ppg, 2.1rpg and 2.8apg. He also played 8 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he got 6.1ppg, 2.3rpg and 3.5apg. Murry also played 4 games in Basketball Champions League where he got remarkable 15.3ppg, 4.5rpg, 5.0apg and 1.5spg.
In 2012 Austin Toros selected him as first overall pick in D-League draft.
The former Wichita State star is in his tenth season in pro basketball.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Murry is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Bosnia (HKK Zrinjski HT Mostar), Germany (ratiopharm Ulm), Greece (Promitheas), Israel, Italy (Piacenza), Turkey (Yesilgiresun Bld), NBA (Utah Jazz, New York Knicks, Washington Wizards and Minnesota Timberwolves), NBA G League (Sioux Falls S., Texas L., Rio Grande Valley Vipers and College Park S.) and The Basketball Tournament (Aftershocks).
