Kuwait adds Kikanovic to their roster for GCC!!

Elmedin Kikanovic

Defending champion Al Kuwait SC (D1) added to their roster 32-year old Bosnian ex-international center Elmedin Kikanovic (211cm-105kg, agency: BeoBasket) for the Arab Gulf Club Championship (GCC). He moved there from OGM Orman in Turkish BSL league where he played this season. In 28 games he recorded 13.3ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.4apg. The last season Kikanovic played at Monaco in French Jeep ELITE ProA. In two games he averaged 8.0ppg and 2.0rpg.
He was also a member of Bosnia and Herzegovina international program for some years. Kikanovic played for Bosnia and Herzegovina Senior National Team between 2006 and 2018 and previously for U18 National Team between 2005 and 2006.
He also represented Bosnia at the Qualifications to European Championships 2017 five years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 5.0ppg, 1.0rpg.
Kikanovic is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Germany (ALBA Berlin), Russia (Enisey), Serbia (Crvena Zvezda), France (Sluc Nancy) and Bosnia (OKK Sloboda Tuzla).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others He played in the final of French ProA for two years in a row (2018 and 2019). Kikanovic was also selected Eurobasket.com All-Turkish League Honorable Mention in 2020.
On Kikanovic: The Bosnian Power forward is not massive but he has good skills (which can easily improved to become better) and good body size and body shape. He is very good inside ten feet, but he is showing promising ability to shoot from the perimeter too. His basketball IQ is higher than average and it will help him to grow faster in the courts. He needs to add some strength in his game.
