The Regular Season in D1 just ended. Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Al Kuwait as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Al Kuwait smashed bottom-ranked Al Sulaibikhat in Kuwait City 62-25. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Al Sulaibikhat at the other side still closes the standings.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 27: Al Shabab was destroyed by Al Nasar on the opponent's court 79-56. Kazma outscored Al Sahel in a home game 80-51. Al Tadhamon was rolled over Al Jahraa on the road 95-63.

Al Nasar - Al Shabab 79-56

Rather expected game in An Nasr where 8th ranked Al Shabab (6-15) was crushed by sixth ranked Al Nasar (10-10) 79-56 on Sunday. Al Nasar have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 10-10 record. Al Shabab at the other side keeps the eighth position with 15 games lost.

Kazma - Al Sahel 80-51

Rather predictable result in Kuwait City where third ranked Kazma (16-4) smashed 7th ranked Al Sahel (9-12) 80-51 on Sunday. Kazma maintains third place with 16-4 record having just one point less than leader Al Kuwait. Al Sahel at the other side keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost.

Al Jahraa - Al Tadhamon 95-63

Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Al Tadhamon (2-18) was rolled over on the road by fifth ranked Al Jahraa (13-8) 95-63 on Sunday. Al Jahraa maintains fifth place with 13-8 record. Al Tadhamon lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 18 games lost.
