The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kuwait City: Al Qadsia (#4) and Kazma (#2). Al Qadsia (6-0) won against visiting Kazma (7-2) 75-65. Undefeated Al Qadsia have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 6-0 record. Kazma at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost.
Undefeated leader Al Kuwait delivered the ninth consecutive win. This time they beat 7th ranked Al Jahraa (4-4) 70-62 in Kuwait City. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Al Kuwait. Defending champion maintains first place with 9-0 record. Al Jahraa at the other side keeps the seventh position with four games lost. Al Kuwait will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al Jahraa will play at home against Al Yarmook (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked Al Sulaibikhat (0-9) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 75-57 loss to eighth ranked Al Yarmook (3-6) in Sulaibikhat on Wednesday evening. Al Yarmook maintains eighth place with 3-6 record. Al Sulaibikhat lost their eighth game in a row. They still close the standings with nine games lost. Al Yarmook will meet higher ranked Al Jahraa (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Al Sulaibikhat will have a break next round.
The game in Abu Halifa was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Al Arabi (7-3) played at the court of 5th ranked Al Sahel (5-5). Al Arabi defeated Al Sahel 83-73. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Al Sahel. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Al Arabi. They maintain third place with 7-3 record having just one point less than leader Al Kuwait. Al Sahel at the other side dropped to the sixth position with five games lost.

Al Qadsia - Kazma 75-65
