Kuwait celebrate 21/22 League title - Mar 26, 2022

Kuwait have been crowned League champions. They overcame Kazma 96-76 in the third game of the championship series to complete the sweep. Mohammad Adnan (PF-2000) scored 25 points to pace the champions.
Kuwait recorded a 21-17 lead after ten minutes of action. They went on a 21-14 rally in the second period to boost the lead to as many as 11 points 42-31. Kuwait stayed dominant in the second half. They erupted for 54 points after the big break and rallied to a comfortable victory at the end. Elmedin Kikanovic (211-C-1988, agency: BeoBasket) delivered 15 points for Kuwait. Zach Lofton (193-G-1992, college: NM State, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 18 points for Kazma.
Jahraa finished third in the league as they overcame Qadsia 80-57 in the third game of the consolation final series. Shane Rector (188-G-1994, college: Utah St.) came up with 25 points for the winners.

Al Kuwait SC clinch SuperCup title in the country. They overcame Kazma 122-79 to celebrate another trophy. Elmedin Kikanovic (211-C-1988, agency: BeoBasket) finished with 24 points, while Mustafa AlSayed added 19 points for the winners. Zach Lofton (193-G-1992, college: NM State, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 24 points for Kazma. Aleksandar Marelja (207-F/C-1992, agency: BeoBasket) tossed in 15 points in the losing effort.
