American forward Marty Jackson (198-F-2000, college: St.Leo) was the top scorer of the day in the world with the 35 points he had in the Kazakhstan league. Jackson graduated from Saint Leo University three years ago. His excellent performance made his team Barsy Atyrau beat the Tobol 97 to 82. On top of that he also recorded 12 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 steals and 1 assist that evening. Among many awards his college team won the GLVC Tournament and he was selected to the All Tournament Team back in 2022. Jackson was also selected to the All GLVC Second Team back in 2021.
