An exciting game was played in Astana. Top-ranked Astana faced 3rd ranked Kaspiy Aktau. Host Astana (12-0) smashed guests from Aktau (0-12) 92-57. The game without a history. Astana led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Kaspiy Aktau's 34. Astana forced 21 Kaspiy Aktau turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Roderick Odom (206-91, college: Vanderbilt) who scored 25 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Greek guard Dimitrios Katsivelis (196-91) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals. point guard Azim Yagodkin (185-92) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the guests. Kaspiy Aktau's coach Renato Martinez gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Undefeated Astana have an impressive 12-game winning streak.
