Sixth-ranked Champ1on (3-26) used its home court advantage to challenge fourth ranked Tigers-KazATU (13-17) in Almaty on Thursday. The visitors from Astana managed to secure only one-point victory 70-69. However their fans expected easier game. Tigers-KazATU forced 27 Champ1on turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Roman Baybolov (188-2006) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds.
