Astana Tigers claimed D1 title. They rolled past Turan in the third game to complete the sweep. Astana Tigers forced 22 Turan turnovers. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian power forward Ganna Rulyova (183-1986, agency: BIG) who scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. The former international forward Tamara Kuzmina-Yagodkina (182-1990) chipped in 21 points. Four Astana Tigers players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Ulyana Kudrevtseva (175-1999) who recorded 8 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Milana Alyoshkova (162-2002) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
